| Foresters Deal Saints 5-4 Loss | The Cleveland Foresters did just enough to secure a victory over the Montreal Saints, 5-4, at Parc Cartier II. Nobody did more than catcher Larry McClure. Ollie White was credited with the save for Cleveland, his 2nd of the season. The Foresters, at 32-31, have now won 6 straight.
In the first inning, McClure had a bases-clearing double for Cleveland. It was his 15th double of the season and put the Foresters on top, 4-0.
"We found a way to get it done," McClure said.
