The New York Gothams topped the Pittsburgh Miners, 7-5, in Federal Association action at Fitzpatrick Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of New York right fielder Bunny Hufford. Ed Bowman earned the win to go to 4-0. He allowed 5 runs on 14 hits, with 1 walk and 2 strikeouts in 9 innings of work. The win gives New York a record of 8-7.
