McCarty Helps Boston Cruise to 13-3 Win | Boston and St. Louis got after it at Minuteman Stadium.
Good production from left fielder Ben McCarty helped the Boston Minutemen topple the St. Louis Pioneers, 13-3. McCarty went 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 5 for the Minutemen. Boston, now 16-7, has played well in the early going.
Buddy Schneider, who is tied for 2nd in the FA in RBI with 23, contributed to the Boston win with a 3-run home run in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the second baseman had 3 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 2 singles, 2 runs scored, and 4 runs batted in.
