Cincinnati got a strong outing from Jim Anderson as the Cannons defeated the Montreal Saints, 3-2, at Tice Memorial Stadium II. The win gives Cincinnati a record of 9-8.

The Cannons procured the win, in large part because of center fielder Fred Galloway. In the bottom of the tenth, he produced the game-winning run-scoring double.

In postgame comments, Galloway said he was glad to contribute to an exciting win.
