| Detroit Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win | Behind an impressive start by Carl Potter, Detroit beat Pittsburgh, 3-2. Detroit pitcher Wally Hunter got the win. He's now 2-4. Roland Stewart was tagged with the loss. Detroit has now won 3 straight, while the Miners have lost 5 in a row.
The Dynamos procured the win, in large part because of third baseman Tommy Griffin. In the bottom of the tenth, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.
"The game of baseball will test you," said Dick York, the Detroit skipper. "This one tested us."
