Foresters Lose to Kings in Walk Off
Kings County Park II was host to some intense drama.

Despite a fine performance by center fielder Sherry Doyal, the Cleveland Foresters lost to the Brooklyn Kings, 6-5. Doyal was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Brooklyn's record now stands at 48-50, placing them 5th in the Continental Association.

In the bottom of the ninth, with two out and the game tied, 5-5, second baseman Chuck Lewis won it for Brooklyn. With a runner on 2nd, Lewis hit a 2-0 fastball from Hank Berkowitz for a run-scoring double, giving his team the 6-5 win.

"This joint was rocking," said Lewis.
