Eagles Edge Past Minutemen, 3-2 | The Washington Eagles topped the Boston Minutemen, 3-2, in Federal Association action at Minuteman Stadium. The standout performance belonged to Washington pitcher and Schererville, Indiana, native Dan Everett. With the win, Washington upped its record to 63-50.
Mickey Holloway, who is tied for 5th in the FA in stolen bases with 12, aided the Washington cause with a 2-run single in the top of the seventh. For the game, the center fielder went 2 for 5 with a double. He drove in 2 runs.
