| Saints Lose to Wolves, 3-1 | Toronto and Montreal played a hard-fought contest.
Toronto Wolves pitcher Jerry York was in fine form, leading his team past the Montreal Saints, 3-1. York went 9 innings to notch the win. He scattered 7 hits, walked 2, and struck out 2. His record improves to 2-4.
Hal Wood made an early impact for Toronto when he stroked his 1st home run of the season. The solo home run, which came with two out in the top of the first, put the Wolves on top, 1-0.
"For the most part, I stayed out of the middle of the plate," York said.
With the win, Toronto goes to 16-18, while the Saints fall to 15-19.
