Cleaves Torches Miners for 5 Hits
It was a big day for George Cleaves and he brought the New York Gothams along for the ride.

Cleaves led his club to a 15-7 victory over the Pittsburgh Miners today at Gotham Stadium, smoking Pittsburgh pitching for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. The 36-year-old catcher later called the victory "sweet."
