Cougars Earn 7-6 Win Against Wolves
The Chicago Cougars wiggled past the Toronto Wolves, 7-6, at Dominion Stadium. The win was highlighted by the performance of Chicago pitcher George Oddo. David Molina earned the win after being called from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed 2 runs on 3 hits in 2 innings. He upped his record to 3-2. Jim Kenny closed the door for Chicago, picking up his 1st save of the year.

Chicago used a clutch hit from Chubby Hall to get the win. The pinch hitter drilled a solo home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Cougars ahead, 7-6. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"It wasn't a pretty victory," said Oddo, "but we got it done."

Chicago is 6th in the Continental Association with a record of 19-24.
