| Sailors Slap 8-2 Loss on Bees | The game between Osaka and Vesutan is in the books, despite a little rain.
The Osaka Sailors stopped the Vesutan Bees, 8-2, at Fukuoka Stadium. The Sailors got a big game from Keishou Fujinami, who was 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. Tashiro Obata picked up the save, his 1st.
Fujinami had a key at-bat for Osaka early in the game. With a runner on 2nd, he hit a 2-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and gave Osaka an early 2-0 lead.
"I thought we played a nice game," Fujinami told the Osaka Chronicle. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
The second-place Sailors are now 15-12, the Bees 14-14.
