Foresters Beat Cougars, 5-2 | Starting pitcher Adrian Czerwinski was a major factor in the 5-2 Cleveland Foresters triumph over the Chicago Cougars. The last-place Foresters improved to 23-29.
The Foresters got a big at-bat from left fielder Paul Porter. For the game, Porter was 1 for 4 with a double. In the bottom of the second, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 5th double of the season gave Cleveland a 1-0 lead.
