 | RF Barrell Extends Stay in Philadelphia Friday, October 6th , 1950 Bobby Barrell inked a deal that will keep the seasoned veteran on the Keystones roster another 1 year. Earlier today team personnel announced that the 40-year-old had settled on a $60,000-a-year deal to play at Broad Street Park II. It's no secret Barrell is getting older, but he could still contribute a lot to the franchise. Currently Barrell has 24 home runs and a .270 batting average. |   |
