The Math Says - Washington Out of Playoffs
Sunday, September 26th , 1943
Ike Keller said it's going to be "an awfully long offseason" for the Washington Eagles after they missed the Federally Aligned Baseball Leagues playoffs. The club came close, but ultimately ran out of games to secure a postseason spot and were eliminated from contention today.

Washington last appeared in the postseason in 1925. This is their 18th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 57 times in their 64 - year history. Washington has won the World Championship Series 3 times in their history.
